Welcome to the Jackson Parish Coroner’s Office web page.  The purpose of this medium is to inform citizens in need of the services of this office with the proper information that they might not only seek the help that is needed but to also understand the powers and limitations imposed on this office by the State Constitution.   This web site is designed to explain to you the purpose of the Office of Coroner and how we operate in our service to the people of Jackson Parish. Our primary function is to be of service to the citizens of Jackson Parish in the areas of death, sexual assault, mental strife, substance abuse and outreach to our communities.  We try to be on the scene of need anywhere in our parish within thirty minutes of being called.  In order to help facilitate our goal of service there have been many changes and improvements in the operation of our office in the past several years.  One of our goals is to continue to make this office as efficient and thorough as is possible and to operate with the highest level of integrity.
